In our shop, we only keep the tape on an hour after installation of the windshield. Once the customer is able to pickup their vehicle with a new windshield or other glass, we are able to remove the tape.

The replacement process is dependant on the temperature and weather conditions. During winter months, the vehicle needs to be brought into the shop and then brought up to working temperature and all snow and ice need to be removed from the roof of the vehicle. Once this has been achieved, the replacement normally take approximately two hours before the vehicle is safe to drive away again.
